HYBRID PROSTHESIS

The purpose of this book is to provide insight into hybrid implant-supported prosthesis which offer a fixed, retrievable, and cost-effective solution for edentulous patients. The book is a systemic review of literature to evaluate the biological, biochemical, technological, and clinical factors that influence their success and long-term outcomes by strict planning and digital workflow. The book concludes that hybrid implant prostheses are a predictable and effective treatment option for edentulous patients when proper diagnosis, treatment planning, biomechanical principles, and maintenance protocols are followed. These prostheses provide excellent retention, stability, esthetics, masticatory efficiency, and psychological benefits compared with conventional dentures. Advances in implant materials, CAD/CAM technology, digital workflows, and modern framework designs have significantly improved the precision and long-term success of hybrid prostheses.
