This book investigates the thermal performance of heat pipes using conventional fluids and Al2O -based nanofluids. Heat pipes are highly efficient heat transfer devices that operate through phase change mechanisms involving evaporation and condensation. The study focuses on key parameters such as fill ratio and inclination angle, along with performance limitations including capillary, boiling, sonic, viscous, entrainment, and condenser limits.An experimental setup is developed to evaluate thermal efficiency, thermal resistance, and temperature distribution under varying conditions. Results show that nanofluids significantly enhance heat transfer performance compared to deionized water, with optimal performance observed at a 75% fill ratio and 30° inclination. The study concludes that nanofluids improve efficiency and reduce thermal resistance, making them suitable for advanced thermal management applications.
