Computerization of a documentation center

Computerization can be defined as the implementation of an automatic information processing system. According to Pierre-Yves DUCHEMIN, "computerization is a heavy and costly operation that leads to profound upheavals in the establishment". Within a library, it allows a fast and efficient management of library tasks, a better rotation of the collection and an easier, faster and more complete research.
