Podrobné informácie

Seminar paper from the year 2009 in the subject Politics - International Politics - Topic: Globalization, Political Economics, grade: 1,3 (A), European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) (Faculty of Cultural Science), course: Globalization in 20th century, language: English, abstract: The agricultural sector represents a perfect example of a strong demand for a rapidchange in regulations. The BSE crisis in Germany in 2000/2001 may be seen as anexample of such an incremental change. The question arises: how such change can bestimulated? This research paper argues that global food safety crisis might cause rapidfood regulation policy alteration on a national level. Special role here plays intense publicreaction to the danger due to its sensitivity to environmental threats, which partlystimulated politicians to an adequate reaction. Might this reaction be considered as a signof a Good Governance?
