Cystatins

This new book presents current research in the study of cystatins, including the evolution, members, structure, and mechanisms of action of the cystatin superfamily; the inhibitory effects of cystatins directly on cysteine proteases; cystatin C in acute coronary syndromes and acute kidney injury and the atherosclerosis and lipid-lowering therapy of statins.
