CBCT In Orthodontics

This book reviews the history of 3D imaging in orthodontics. Nothing in radiology for our dental practice has captured dentist's attention as quickly as CBCT technology. The advent of CBCT have revolutionized the field of dentistry and thus increased diagnosis accuracy than 2D imaging, but 2D imaging can't be replaced with other measures that has remained our golden standard till 19th century. It also highlights the current concepts of new imaging technology, their working principle, advantages and disadvantages of different imaging system, American Board Orthodontics guidelines and recommendations of CBCT, dosimetry and has described its wide application in orthodontics.
