Australische Geschichten

Alle, die ich jemals kannte, wollten eines Tages ein Buch schreiben. Ich habe das nie gesagt, aber mir wurde vielmals nahegelegt es zu tun. Also habe ich schließlich auf sie gehört und eines geschrieben. Wer hätte aber jemals gedacht, dass ich ein Buch über meine Abenteuer auf Deutsch schreiben würde, welches speziell auf meine deutsche Leserschaft in meiner neuen Wahlheimat abzielt?
Ich bedanke mich bei Anja Roschke, die die "Niko" Bücher 1-3 geschrieben hat und Petra Kupka, der Authorin von "Ein Kleid aus Rosen" und "Australisches Tagebuch" für ihren Rat und Inspiration.
Ganz besonders möchte ich meiner Frau und Übersetzerin Britta (dorbertranslations@yahoo.com) für ihre Geduld und die vielen Stunden danken, die sie mit der Übersetzung meines Buches ins Deutsche verbracht hat.
Ich hoffe, dass Sie als Leserschaft dieses Buch genauso genießen, wie ich es genossen habe es zu schreiben.

Everyone that I ever knew said that one day they would write a book. I have never said that, but have been told many times that I should. So I have finally listened and written one. But who would have ever though that I would write a book on my adventures in German and specifically aimed at a German audience in my newly adopted country?
I would like to thank Anja Roschke who wrote the "Niko" books 1-3 and Petra Kupka the author of "Ein Kleid aus Rosen" and the "Australisches Tagebuch" for their advice and inspiration.
Most especially, I would like to thank my wife and translator, Britta (dorbertranslations@yahoo.com) for her patience and for the many hours that she spent on translating this book into correct German for me.
I hope that you, the reader, enjoy reading this book as much as I, the author, enjoyed writing it.
