Maximum seed germination (93.75 %) was observed in both SAM F1 and Munhen cultivars of Tomato on MS medium. Micropropagation increased with increase in time span, 95.83% and 90.97% cultures of SAM F1 and Munhen, respectively, showed regeneration in to complete plantlets in 10 25 days. Only anthers from Sahil cultivar of tomato respond for callus induction on different levels of BAP (2 4 mgL-1) after exposure to cold shock for 72 96 hours under both light and dark culture conditions.
