Cairo Tram

August 12, 1896, the day on which tram trains ran through the streets of the capital, is considered a turning point in the history of Cairene society, as it moved from the stage of nomadism and backwardness, which was represented by the use of donkeys and horses as a means of transportation, to the stage of civilization and civilization, which is represented by the use of electric power.The majority of the people in Cairo were suffering tremendous hardships in moving from one place to another. When the tram was built, a tremendous revolution occurred in all aspects of Cairene life. The nightlife became popular and became accessible to the masses, especially the young men who used to spend the night staying up late. Family ties began to disintegrate, and parents'' control over their children weakened.
