Electrostatics-Electrokinetics

This course of the electrostatics and electrokinetics module is intended for students of the first years of the scientific degree specializing in Math and Computer Science. It covers in five chapters the concepts of electrostatics and electrokinetics that are covered in the first years of the degree. Each chapter begins with reminders emphasizing the fundamental points of the course, illustrated by a few classical examples and accompanied by application exercises, some of which are drawn from the continuous assessment subjects of the discipline, followed by the examination subjects with their detailed solutions.This document is accompanied by appendices containing mathematical reminders and physical quantities as well as the bibliography used.The authors would like to thank all the colleagues who have supported the realization of this document, in particular Mr. Djamal Barama who has accepted to revise this document.This first edition surely contains some imperfections, we would be grateful to all those who would share with us their remarks and suggestions.
