Cybercrime

Modern society is dependent on sensitive information infrastructure. Information and communication, banking, energy supply, hydrocarbon electricity and gas, transportation and logistics, as well as health and rescue, all depend on computers and telecommunications. These structures, which require increasingly sophisticated and complex technologies, are becoming all the more vulnerable. These advances have rapidly rendered obsolete the protective measures for information and communication technologies, which are subject to breakdowns, errors and electronic attacks. The essential role that information technology plays in the areas most needed by society and the interconnection of information infrastructures on a national and international level, can potentially be a source of significant damage. This document is addressed to all actors, including lawyers, university professors, governments, and students.
