Partnership benchmark - success

In July 2021 the Programme of Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2021-2025 was approved, which set a target of reaching an increase in exports of goods and services in excess of 50 billion dollars by the end of the five-year period. At the same time, the volume of exports of food products and agricultural raw materials will increase to $7 billion by the end of 2025. The dynamics of growth in supplies of Belarusian food products and agricultural raw materials to foreign markets in 2021 shows that the task set in the program for the next five-year period can be achieved much earlier. Statistics show that over the first seven months of this year exports of agricultural products from Belarus increased by almost 10%, and exceeded $3.5 billion. The geography of these supplies is very broad - 97 countries of the world. And practically in all regions of the planet their growth is observed. Particularly dynamic growth has been registered in the European Union and overseas countries, by nearly 45 percent. A broadly similar picture is currently observed with regard to other Belarusian exports. What measures are being taken in Belarus to reach the stated goals? This is what we are talking about in this study.
