Endodontic Mishaps

Root canal treatment or endodontic treatment is a procedure for the infected pulp of a tooth which is intended to result in the elimination of infection and protection of the decontaminated tooth from future microbial invasion and preserve the tooth as long as possible in the oral cavity. For this, step by step procedures like cleaning, shaping, disinfection and obturation has to preform. Mistakes in any of these sequences can lead to a number of accidents which are collectively called "Endodontic Mishaps".
