Energy Efficiency

In this book, the authors present current research from across the globe in the study of the different methods, limitations and challenges in energy efficiency. Topics discussed in this compilation include issues of information and communication technology in energy efficient urban communities; energy efficient appliances, road vehicles, and behaviors; hybrid models for energy efficiency in building services; methods for determination of energy efficiency in electric arc furnaces; energy assessments using pollution prevention tools; long term energy and affordability implications of residential local decisions; and challenges and opportunities for developing a framework for achieving high energy efficiency in new housing.
