Bridge Markland Portraits

Active on the Berlin cultural scene for many years now, Markland has earned a reputation as a multi-talented artist, proficient in all forms of performance art including dance, grotesque, slapstick, trangender perfomance, cabaret, and poetry. Her work is inspired by the expressionist and grotesque dance of the early 20th century. Portraits gives the viewer an overview of this rare style of performance, whilst revealing the artist in her many forms and guises.
