EQ Intervention

Emotional intelligence in the classroom matters more now than ever. Written by a licensed psychologist with years of experience working within school districts to improve the emotional health of both faculty and students, The EQ Intervention: Shaping a Self-Aware Generation Through Social and Emotional Learning is an accessible, deep-dive exploration into the critical value of practicing Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) skills in the classroom, with the aim of preventing violence in schools before it ever starts. The EQ Intervention also includes a research-backed tool, the Educator Assessment of Social and Emotional Learning (EASEL), which school faculty can use to measure their SEL skills and identify where they can improve their own emotional hygiene, and-by extension-their ability to manage conflict resolution on campus.
