I am a historian of European, British and Irish history. Beyond my academic teaching and research interests, I am passionate about social and cultural history, particularly books which explore the worlds of music and style. I am a bibliophile. My all-time favourite is The Complete Works of Oscar Wilde , which I wish to be buried with me.
